The concept was to find a material that was firm yet movable and re-useable. After 2 years of research, I didn't find anything in the marketplace of such a product. I was able to develop a product combining two fabrics together to create the weight and size of the Slip Fits design. I wanted it to be a simple and clean design for everybody to enjoy! My idea came simply from looking at many sneakers of all types and realizing that the only thing that you see different on them are a wide-range of sneaker colors or fat or skinny colored shoe stings. I thought it'd be cool if I could come up with an changeable re-useable tongue that you can slip in and out of position between the tongue and shoe strings of the sneaker.
